There’s always one person who actually makes the AI tools work. Her name is Priya and she’s exhausted.

Every AI-powered marketing team has a Priya. She’s the one who actually makes it all work. She’s also the one nobody notices until she takes a sick day and everything breaks.

Priya is the human integration layer. She’s the one who knows which prompts work, which tools need which format, where the brand guide lives, and how to make the output not sound like it was written by a robot having an existential crisis.

The company calls this ‘AI transformation.’ Priya calls it Tuesday. She didn’t sign up to be the connective tissue between eleven tools that don’t talk to each other. But here she is.

The system doesn’t work because of AI. It works because of Priya. And when Priya leaves — and she will, because this is exhausting — the whole thing collapses. Not because the tools failed, but because the architecture required a human to be the operating system.
